Before returning to study at Saint Martin's Mr Woodcock was a creative in advertising, based in London, working on various campaign concepts for brands like McDonald's, Nike, Cadbury, Sony etc.

Prior to this Mr Woodcock designed fashion, showing his own collections, wrote and directed avant-garde performance work, often appearing in his own tableaus, confusing the demarcation between performance and real life.

During this time he also preformed as part of The Offset at the legendary Mint Tea Rooms held in The Splash Kings Cross and London's Institute of Contemporary Art.
